The Evening
Ruh Se Rang Tak — "from the soul to colour" — is a journey in two halves. We open in stillness, with the aching beauty of Sufi ghazals and soulful melodies, and build through the night into the joyous, singalong spirit of Bollywood. It's an evening designed to move with you — from quiet reflection to full-hearted celebration.
This is a special one: Desi Adda London is joined by Aritra Chakraborty, a Hindustani classical vocalist, performer, and storyteller from Kolkata. Trained from the age of four and now a Junior Scholar at the prestigious ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Aritra has performed over 100 live shows across India and abroad, and has been personally praised by legendary maestro Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty for his work bringing classical music to younger audiences. His artistry spans classical ragas, soulful ghazals, and storytelling through song — a rare and rising voice on the traditional music circuit.
About Desi Adda London
Desi Adda London is a live Bollywood acoustic act built from the ground up by a group of local London-based musicians who've been quietly carving out a niche with their singalong sessions and storytelling shows. Built on the philosophy of "No Backing Tracks · No Safety Net," the band has built a loyal following across London and beyond with sold-out shows in Sutton, Surbiton, Hounslow, Canary Wharf, Manchester, and Croydon. Every performance is real, raw, and rooted in the belief that music feels like home.
